Rocksalt Café Carrickmacross

Currently staying in carrickmacross for some work training have been into rocksalt both today and yesterday, and it is without a doubt 5 stars, from the food which is fantasticly flavored and presented, the service was secind to kmow being checked on regularly and making sure everything was ok and right for us. I'd just lile to mention Kate in particular she was our waitress both days her lovely smile, warm welcome and top level craic is really what stood out the most and what brought us back. Staff like kate and her colleagues are few and far between nowadays, the owner should be very happy, will definately be back again before I leave carrickmacross, thanks to kate and to all the staff at rocksalts 5 stars

Portion size was generous, the beef toastie was very good. I cant wait to come back and try the tiramisu french toast!

My daughter was spending a semester in town and this was her preferred restaurant. We came to visit her and this was the first place she took us and, honestly, it is very good.

Some staff are more friendly than others, yet they are all quite efficient. Place is very nice, warmly decorated. Menu is a little short, yet all the plates we tasted were amazingly good!

My only disappointed might be there no/limted local beers: they have the usual international classics (Corona, Heineken,...)

Very recommended anyway!
